Our goal is to provide safe and reliable transportation to our clients through our caring and supportive team of drivers and staff.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking reliable and experienced Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) Drivers to join our team; willing to train the right candidates. This position will work varied hours between 5am-6pm in Marion, Clackamas, and Washington counties including surrounding areas.
**Duties:**
- Safely drive company vehicles to transport clients to their destinations
- Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the journey
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
**Experience:**
- Must be 23 years old for required insurance
- Prefer previous experience in driving, such as NEMT driving, or bus driving, commercial driving, and delivery driver roles
- Familiarity with paratransit services is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when required; including, but not limited to: walkers, wheelchairs, and other medical equipment
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients
- Valid and Clear Driviers License, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, and Background Check
- CPR/First Aid, Passenger Assistance (PASS Basic) Course, and Defensive Driving Course (Training provided by Ace Ride Transportation as needed)
