Florida Medical Transport is looking for qualified Emergency Medical Technicians to join our rapidly growing team. EMT's shall service both non-emergency and BLS ambulance teams throughout central Florida.

EMT's shall provide friendly and compassionate care under the supervision of our Medical Director. Responsibilities include getting patients to and from their medical appointments, assisting patients with hospital discharges, interfacility transports, or providing EMS overflow for basic life support services utilizing our state-of-the-art fleet of vehicles. EMT's must conduct vehicle inspections at the beginning and end of their shift according to established procedures, maintain their vehicles and cleanliness, report needed repairs and service maintenance to supervisor, maintain full knowledge of the vehicle’s equipment and proper use at all times, complete documents and maintenance records clearly and accurately, and participate in regular training and educational opportunities.

Requirements

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• EMT certification
• Valid State of Florida Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass DOT physical, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, and criminal background check
• Must be customer service oriented
• Insurance requires applicants be at least 23 years old
