ENERGY SERVICESSALES REPRESENTATIVE @ ACDI:
The Energy Services Sales Representative will find and screen potential customers and reseller partners who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal person will have a strong understanding of the sales process and will excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and managing current relationships. To be successful in this role, you should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
This successful team member will work in tandem with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors. It will be of the utmost importance that team members support ACDI’s mission, vision, and core values. Ensure discretion with confidential information. Practice individual time management and encourage team members to implement healthy time management behaviors as well. Support a collaborative work environment including courteous, helpful, and professional behavior.
ENERGY SERVICES SALES REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Become familiar with Energy Services Products and Services
Utilize CRM, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products and services
Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and partners for sales executives
Report to the sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to achieve company target
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
2 years in sales and/or business development experience or knowledge required
Must be a strong writer and public speaker in front of small and large groups
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties while demonstrating critical thinking skills
Subject matter expert/industry experience is a strong plus
Passion for cars / environment / EV charging / EV's is a strong plus
Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc) required
Familiarity with Google and Zoho applications sets you apart
Experience presenting to executive-level management preferred
Strong professional communication skills (via phone, email, and in-person), problem-solving, negotiation skills, technical capacity, project management, and collaboration
Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company or team information
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively, be adaptable to change, anticipate upcoming needs, and prioritize work
Ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize
Strives for excellence by setting priorities and following through
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to lift 15 pounds
Ability to travel up to 15% annually or as needed and fly on a commercial airliner across the U.S. and globally via plane and driving as determined on client/meeting location. Overnight stays away from home will be required.
May be required to furnish a passport or other identity documents for international travel
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not have supervisor responsibilities at this time
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Moderate noise level, bullpen environment located at ACDI headquarters unless approved to work remotely by management
Fast-paced, encouraging, and positive
Employee may be required to furnish mobile services and devices necessary to receive business communications on a continual basis
