Role: SAP Techno-Functional Consultant ( FICA, CI, RAR)

Location: Zion, IL Onsite
Duration: Long time contract
Implementation partner: TCS

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Techno-Functional Expert with a strong background in SAP FICA (Finance & Contract Accounting), SAP CI (Convergent Invoicing), and SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Recognition). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the configuration, integration, and management of these systems to support our financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain SAP FICA functionalities including Dunning procedures, Collection Strategies, and integration with payment channels.

Manage payment processes including cash desk operations, write-offs, return processing, security deposits, installment plans, and promise-to-pay agreements.

Conduct Payment reconciliation with third parties and banks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Configure and manage SAP Convergent Invoicing and SAP Industry Invoicing functionalities within FICA.

Integrate FICA with FI-AR and FI-AP systems, ensuring seamless financial operations.

Configure FICA Events and utilize BRF (Business Rule Framework) for process automation.

Develop expertise in clearing strategies and rules, optimizing financial clearing processes.

Set up SAP configurations for creditworthiness assessments, payment collection agencies, and manage the sending of items to collection agencies.

Handle custom manual postings, bill reversals, and refund management across various payment modes.

Design and develop custom solutions that align with standard SAP practices.

Maintain a thorough understanding of FICA tables for generating and reconciling payment reports.

Manage month-end and period-end closing activities, including integration of FICA with FICO GL.

Ensure knowledge transfer of Controlling/CO-PA Integration with FICA for comprehensive financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in SAP FICA, SAP CI, and SAP RAR modules.

Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex financial systems.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for developing custom solutions.

Solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
