HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN WOODRIDGE, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technician to join our client in Woodridge, IL. This individual will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual maintenance and inspections. The ideal candidate will possess two to three (2-3) years of maintenance experience, as well as the ability to use a variety of tools and equipment related to job duties. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $20/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
• Monday through Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm, but some flexibility is needed
• Located in Woodridge, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance and inspections.
• Ensures the facility equipment is kept in good working order and that facility maintenance needs are met.
• ​May perform minor building projects, order parts and supplies, change light bulbs, hang signs or mirrors, and more
• Fully participates in Safety and 5S initiatives.
• ​Inspect equipment and supplies, such as: debris blower/vacuum, scrubber, power-washer, snow plow/blower, pallet jack, and forklift, cleaning supplies, and all chemicals used in the facility to ensure safe usage and storage.
• ​Control costs and promote positive customer relations by looking for ways to perform repairs without using an outside vendor.
• ​Load and unload - assists workers in loading, unloading, counting, and verifying supplies, records, and pallets.
• Assist Sanitation/Maintenance Assistant personnel with building sanitation projects as needed.​

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must have a strong work ethic
• Skilled in facilities maintenance,
• Any IT hardware background is a plus.
• ​High School degree or equivalent preferred
• ​Two to three (2-3) years of maintenance experience.
• ​Must have knowledge of a variety of maintenance and mechanical skills.
• ​Must be able to work in high places and with various power equipment and tools.
• ​Ability to maintain a forklift, pallet jack, debris blower/vacuum, scrubber, power washer, snow plow/blower, and pick-up truck with plow.
