Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift

Location : Ruther Glen, VA

Shift : 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm (possible overtime)

Pay : $47,500 to $52,500 (depending on experience)

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a national grocery distributor and established leader in the grocery industry to join our team in Ruther Glen, VA.

The role involves overseeing the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team, ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of various work areas, as well as maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of all work areas, including dock areas, outside dock areas, aisles, break areas, bathrooms, and shipping offices.
• Determine material, equipment, and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
• Conduct periodic inspections of facilities to diagnose problems and initiate necessary actions.
• Plan and schedule routine maintenance, establishing work priorities.
• Supervise a staff of skilled and semi-skilled workers in various maintenance areas.
• Inspect work for completeness and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Experience in Maintenance in a food storage facility.
• 2 years in related maintenance work.
• Supervisory experience.
• Technical school education is preferred but will accept directly-related work experience.
• Ability to use industry software, such as Microsoft Office and WMS system.
