SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction are maintained by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Communicates with customers by phone, email or fax and receives orders for processing through brokerage or distribution channels.

Order Entry and follow-up to confirmation of order

Communicates daily with sales representatives and suppliers, acting as liaison between sales representative, suppliers, and the customer.

Communicates effectively with sales representatives, customers, coworkers, and management.

Generate reports, letters, E-mail, and support documentation.

Answering telephones for main office.

Assists with backup support when needed.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully the candidate must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of Sage (MAS) a plus.
