We are seeking a working foreman, preferably with at least 7-10 years of experience, to lead a crew of electricians on commercial projects ranging from $100k to over $2M. Crew size on individual projects could be anywhere from 2 to approximately 10-12, but will typically be about 4-6 people. We are a Local 363 USWU shop, offering benefits (such as health insurance, pension, annuity, 401(k), etc.) to all electricians.
Most work is in Manhattan, but you must be able to commute to all other NYC boroughs and NJ if necessary. Typically work 8-hour day shifts Monday-Friday, with possibility of overtime or weekend work as available.
The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable electrician, diligent and organized leader, ambitious, and looking for a long-term stable position to grow on our team. Project management experience is a bonus, though not required.
