We are looking for a dependable and responsible Driver to safely transport goods to and from customer locations in accordance with delivery schedules. This individual will be running routes to and from our customers and must be able to communicate well and present themselves well. They must also be willing to assist in the Shipping/Receiving process on the production floor as needed.

To be successful in the Driver position, you must be able to efficiently, safely, and properly transport customer orders, while maintaining proper records.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Experience
• 3 years of truck driving work experience
• Clean Driving Record
• No tickets, no accidents, no points
• Subject to background check and drug testing
• Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Class C commercial driver's license (CDL), preferred but not required
• Proven experience driving trucks
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
• The ability to utilize GPS and local road maps
• The ability to operate hand trucks and electric lifts
• Effective communication skills
• Punctual and reliable
• Able to lift 60 lbs

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transport goods to and from specified locations according to company delivery schedules
• Liaise with dispatch to communicate any traffic issues and delays
• Properly secure goods to ensure that they are not damaged in transit
• Assist in the loading and unloading of goods, using hand trucks and electric lifts as required
• Obtain signatures from customers upon completion of each delivery to confirm receipt of goods
• Ensure that the company truck is clean and well-maintained at all times
• Responsible to conduct yourself in a manner consistent with company mission, vision, and values

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
