Summary of Position:

The role of the Junior Business Analyst is to analyze processes and applications, identify, research, and provide recommendations for improvement. The Junior Business Analyst implements solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity throughout the agency. This is inclusive of all technology-based systems.

Essential Functions of the Job (including but not limited to):

• Collect, organize and analyze data related to business operations, utilizing software tools.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements for new reports, processes or projects.
• Analyze agency needs to determine appropriate hardware, software and reporting solutions.

• Analyze data, design and develop reports to evaluate and ensure alignment with agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Document current business processes using techniques, like flowcharts, to visualize how work is done and identify areas for improvement.
• Use data analysis and process mapping to identify inefficiencies.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, presentations, or visualizations.

• Develop new and edit existing reports to streamline business operations.
• Reconcile data for increased accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify and repair source data that is corrupt or misplaced.
• Automate existing processes to accurately keep records.
• Daily download of CYBER reports to refresh Power BI dashboard and reports.
• Maintain and enhance agency Sharepoint page.
• Support implementation of new systems and reports through testing to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
• Implement recommended changes by collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing training to end-users and monitoring performance to ensure outcomes are achieved.

Education, Experience:

• Bachelor s Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, etc) or relevant experience
• 1 years of experience
• Technical Expertise (Power Bi, Excel Power Automate, Sharepoint & Visio)
