We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to organize and direct all plant maintenance and engineering functions for production and plant facilities in Lansdale, PA. The ideal candidate will manage the scheduling and execution of production equipment and facility maintenance, assign tasks to union personnel, and oversee I.T. Tech and outside subcontractors. This role requires a proactive leader to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, special projects, and cost reduction initiatives while ensuring plant safety and compliance with OSHA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and direct all plant maintenance and engineering functions for production and plant facilities.
• Schedule production equipment and facility maintenance under general direction, making specific assignments to union personnel, including electricians, maintenance mechanics, I.T. Tech, and outside subcontractors.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
• Plan and schedule special projects, coordinating around production requirements.
• Anticipate material needs and create layouts for the installation of equipment.
• Design fixtures and special equipment to support production needs.
• Collaborate closely with the President, General Manager, and Plant Manager on projects and special initiatives.
• Oversee plant safety, chair the Safety Committee, and conduct periodic safety walks through the plant.
• Represent the company in OSHA matters, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Engage in industry and community projects related to water and energy use.
• Manage facility cleaning and grounds maintenance.
• Operate the maintenance department within budgetary limits.
• Develop and implement cost reduction programs to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of plant maintenance, engineering functions, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks and projects effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing union personnel and coordinating with outside subcontractors.
• Familiarity with designing fixtures and special equipment.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and plant safety requirements.
• Experience in budgeting and cost control within a maintenance department.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior management and various departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and address maintenance needs proactively.
