Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a Heidelberg 6-color offset sheetfed press to produce high-quality printed materials. This is a full-time position with competitive pay, insurance, dental, and vision benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications
- Monitor press operations to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment
- Adjust ink levels, tension, and alignment as needed
- Collaborate with prepress and graphic design teams to ensure accurate reproduction of print materials
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain inventory of printing supplies and order replacements as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- 5 Years Previous experience as a Press Operator or similar role
- Proficient in operating CNC machines and fabricating materials
- Knowledge of print advertising processes, including prepress and color management
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design principles
- Acute attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
