We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our transition to a new accounting software (Odessa 5) and subsequently take on traditional Accounts Receivable responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, research capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Job Description:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for the business during the transition to Odessa 5 accounting software.
• Conduct testing of scenarios and test cases in Odessa 5, review JIRA tickets, and test tickets for software implementation.
• Actively participate in daily meetings related to Odessa, testing changes, and reporting post-implementation.
• Enter Non-Cash/Credit transactions into the system.
• Update customer accounts with new billing information.
• Provide assistance to employees with requests related to Odessa 5 post-migration.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting/business experience or equivalent college coursework.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and familiarity with transitioning to a new accounting software is highly advantageous
