Our core products vary from LED-based designs, including bubble tubes, fiber optics, and activity wall panels, to soft play, swings, and furniture. eSpecial Needs provides equipment, solutions, and curricula for physical education and recreation professionals, as well as products, equipment, and programs for professionals who deal with children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities.

We seek an Accounting Specialist who will manage and oversee all aspects of the company's accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. This includes ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, managing collections, and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.

To be successful, you should have: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accounts receivable/payable specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP Software, with a preference for Zoho and NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite expertise.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Your key responsibilities as the Accounting Specialist include:

Accounts Receivable

• Process and apply payments.
• Monitor customer accounts for irregularities.
• Generate aging, statements, collections, and reconciliation reports.
• Maintain billing system and ledger, follow up on payments, categorize expenses, and conduct account reconciliations.

Accounts Payable

• Process and verify vendor invoices.
• Perform invoice entry and payment processing.
• Manage weekly payment runs and vendor files.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate aging, discounts, compliance, and reconciliation reports
