12 hour NIGHT shift 7p-730a in Salem, MA13 week contract. MUST BE ABLE TO READ TELE STRIPS & PERFORM CARDIAC DRIPS. Unit Description: Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg areas Experience Required: Two years of acute care hospital experience. Skill Sets Required: Flexible, Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. Clinician to Patient Ratio: Nights up to 6:1. Patient Population: In the ED only care for patients who are bordering, in the adult behavioral health unit only the medication nurse, in the ICU care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready. Bed Count: 300 beds total. Census: Units range from 8 beds to 41. EMR (Charting System): EPIC, Omnicell, Kronos. Certifications Required: BLS.
