Job Description

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible to receive, document, store and issue all goods and materials ordered by the resort.
  • Receive all goods ordered by the resort
  • Issue received goods to proper departments
  • Keep shipping and receiving log up to date
  • Store goods in proper storerooms
  • Keep dock and storerooms clean
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Good communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of Resort operations, its services, and facilities.
  • Take and maintain Inventory of storeroom product
  • Receive and track Group and Guest packages
  • Submit PO’s under $10,000 maintain monthly budget

Qualifications

 Qualifications:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • High school or equivalent education required. 
  • 1-3 year of relevant experience
  • Must be able to operate golf cart and qualify to be certified to operate a forklift.
  • All associates must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Fairmont Grand Del Mar grooming standards.
  • Read and respond to internal/ external emails, communicating effectively and timely

Additional Information

Rate of Pay: $19.13/hr

Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
