Here at The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, we have a terrific leadership opportunity to lead our Finance and Accounting function. The position will report to the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Specifically, the incumbent will have the opportunity to own and lead the Bank’s strategic budget planning, accounting, and financial reporting operations while also serving as a strategic partner and advisor to the CFO and the Bank’s leadership team in developing effective financial strategies and processes to meet the evolving budget and financial planning requirements established at System and Bank levels. Primary Accountabilities: Provide oversight to the Finance and Accounting functions within the Financial Management group. Work closely with the CFO and Bank management to develop and communicate the Bank's budget and strategic direction. Oversee the Finance and Accounting team that is responsible for financial performance reporting, developing accurate financial statements, accounting for transactions such as payments and reimbursements, and ensuring compliance for all financial transactions. Work collaboratively with Bank leaders, business areas and System stakeholders to ensure business group priorities and financial plans are aligned with System and Bank strategy. Partner with business groups to define metrics, monitor performance and support data-driven decisions to improve outcomes consistent with System and Bank objectives. Support an engaging experience in Finance and Accounting that champions a diverse and inclusive environment and nurtures a highly engaged team. Provide financial updates to the Bank management and System stakeholders. Candidate Requirements & Qualifications: Typically requires 15 years of proven leadership in a Finance role, including 12 years of progressive people and business management experience. Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required. Master of Finance or related field or MBA and CPA/CFA is preferred. FRS experience strongly preferred. Intellectually curious, agile, and innovative with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization. Additional Qualifications: Ability to exercise sound judgment in the use of confidential or critical information pertaining to external and internal customers and operations Proficiency in data analytic tools Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and automated accounting applications Base Salary Range: Min-$237,800.00 - Mid-$314,600.00 - Max-$384,200.00 USD Annual (Location: San Francisco) Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
