Location / Hours:
This is a fulltime position with a Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm schedule based out of our Enfield branch office.
Job Summary / Purpose:
The intake specialist’s main responsibility is handling all intakes called into the company by care managers and potential clients from start to finish before they are handed off to a branch office for scheduling. Additional responsibilities will include sending/receiving service agreements, attending consults for prospective new clients, developing relationships and communicating regularly with outside referral sources and answering rollover reception calls as needed. Note: There is also potential for this position to grow into a management role with an additional responsibility of overseeing the Field Coordination Staff.
Required Skills, Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of training/work experience
• One (1) year of experience in a homecare or health care setting is preferred
• One (1) year of experience in some type of sales is preferred
• Proven organizational skills and detail orientation
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines and effectively handle a heavy workload
• Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with clinical and non-clinical personnel
• Reliable transportation for attending consults in the field
