Accident Centers Of Texas is Hiring a Rehabilitation Technician Near Carrollton, TX

A Rehab tech helps nurses and physical therapists in treating patients. They work to improve the functional ability of the patients through advanced therapies and coordinated treatment plans. We are looking for a Rehabilitation Technician for our Carrollton Clinic.

  • Maintains recreational facilities in therapeutic work areas.
  • Prepares and reviews reports on patient’ attendance and their responses to treatments, which includes documenting changes in clients’ attitudes and progress, and recommending changes in activities based on observations.
  • Monitors the inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Develops and completes client rehabilitative assessments.
  • Evaluates treatment plans for assigned therapeutic specialty.
  • Provides fitness, leisure, and recreation skill training and activities to enhance development related to identified deficiencies and to maintain patients’ maximum physical ability.
  • Provides instructions and training regarding treatment plans.
  • Monitors the implementation of program objectives.
  • Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring new therapeutic programs.
  • May ensure the satisfactory completion of paperwork in order to meet applicable standards and procedures
  • Must understand and follow the treatment plan. If there is anything you are not certain about you must ask the treating doctor.·
  • Rehab Tech must be able to follow Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 protocol and document them.
  • Assure that all patients start rehab therapy as early as second visit.
  • Communicate with the treating doctor regarding any type of difficulties with patient as well as their progress.
  • Support patient intake and assessment
  • Responsible for keeping therapy and treatment areas sanitized and organized
  • Assist Clinic Manager and Team with referral follow ups and maintain patient charts daily

Job Requirements:

  • Must have previous clinical experience in Physical therapy and Personal injury treatments
  • Knowledge and training of all active modalities for cervical, lumber, thoracic spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand joint, hip, knee, ankle and foot rehab.
  • Bilingual
