Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with program managers to understand staffing needs and create effective recruitment strategies.
2. Develop and post job advertisements on relevant platforms, ensuring maximum visibility.
3. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate the interview process with hiring teams.
4. Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
5. Conduct reference checks and assist in the preparation of job offers.
6. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
2. 1-3 years of experience as a Recruitment Coordinator or in a similar role.
3. Proven experience recruiting for Union positions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build positive relationships.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
7. Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
8. Passion for the non-profit sector and commitment to the organization's mission.
