Job Summary
Accessories of Des Moines is seeking one Accessory Installation Technician. Qualified candidates must have their own tools, a good driving record, be able to pass a background check, and be able to install automotive/light truck accessories on all makes efficiently while maintaining the highest quality and care for the vehicle.
Compensation:
Hourly rate of $17 - $30 per hour, depending on experience, expertise, and training.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Installations include:
Tonneau covers
Running boards
Splash guards
Tool boxes and ladder racks
Bug deflectors
Hitches and wiring (Gooseneck, 5th wheel, and standard receiver hitches)
Other basic bolt on accessories
Chassis work. Level/Lift kits
Mounting and balancing tires
Installation of interior and exterior electrical accessories. Lighting, remote start systems, heated seats, etc.
Fuel transfer tanks
Qualifications
2 years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent.
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
