Accessible Home Services is looking for DSP's (Direct Support Professionals) in Portage County, OH to fill positions providing direct support services to individuals in their home.

DSP (Direct Support Professional) Job Description/Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):

• Maintaining Health and Safety of the individuals in your care while maintaining their living space.
• Following the ISP (individual Service Plan) for the individuals being served.
• Assist individuals in completing personal care activities (hygiene & grooming)
• Assist with other life skills (meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping, medical/personal appointments, transportation, medication administration, etc.)
• DSP (Direct Support Professionals) are a positive role-model (manners, communication, interactions, etc.)

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Physical capacity to bend, kneel, and lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of auto insurance
• Must pass pre-employment background checks
• Able to work various shifts including afternoons, weekends, and/or overnight shifts
