International language school in New York City area is hiring professionals for its summer program in June, July, and August of 2024. The OPERATIONS MANAGER position requires previous experience supervising staff in residential overnight environment such as Summer Camps, After-School Programs, ESL or summer school, planning and organizing activities. New Yorker or familiar with New York City transportation system and attractions A PLUS! Work part-time remotely in March, April, May, and June. MUST live on campus from June 27 to August 17, 2024! Other administrative positions may also be available.

Requirements:

. BA or equivalent experience

. Knowledge of New York City transportation and sightseeing activities is a plus

. Management experience within an educational environment, desired Summer Camp, After-School Program environment or ESL/ELL school administration

. Strong administrative, organizational, conflict resolution, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and take independent initiative for action within areas of responsibility

. Excellent interpersonal communication skills

. Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with multi-cultural groups

. Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite

. Ability to learn quickly and work well with others

. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

. Flexible attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure

. Customer focused

. Strong work ethic and understanding of confidentiality in business

. Maintains professional image

. Ability to speak foreign languages is a plus

. Must be authorized to work in the USA

Unless otherwise specified in writing, staff members' compensation includes on-campus housing and half-board campus meal plan during working hours.
