We are looking for a dynamic individual to be part of the opening Star Farms team. Opening soon will be select amenities including Trade Route a full-service café serving coffee, pastries, toasts and sandwiches, beer and wine.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter.
- Describe drink and food menus and answer questions regarding ingredients & preparation.
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
- Prepare and server food and beverages following recipes.
- Operate point of sale system, receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Maintain all cleanliness standards and follow opening and/or closing duties.
- Knowledge of proper operation and maintenance for coffee and food preparation equipment.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Light cleaning.
- Communicate customer feedback to the management team.
- Ability to open/close the café.
Requirements and Skills:
- Previous work experience as a Barista or Food Server.
- High School diploma.
- A strong and committed work ethic with an ever-present enthusiasm.
- An eye for detail, cleanliness, efficiency and organization.
- The ability to multitask under pressure with a smile.
- A true team player, proactive and always going above and beyond.
- The ability and willingness to cultivate guest relationships.
- Experience with touch screen POS system.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Excellent communication skills.
