Essential Position Functions:

Greet members and guests to the Fitness Center warmly and pleasantly and oversee the coordination of all member and guest requests and issues/complaints in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
Perform administrative tasks associated with facility operations, including front desk responsibilities, point of sale transactions, and membership registrations.
Assist in designing and implementing health promotion, wellness, and educational programming.
Supervise and monitor exercise participants.
Assist with Members services at the pools, including cleaning and general upkeep of facility area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be able to work 10am-6pm Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)

Educational Experiences and Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1-year experience in a related field (fitness/wellness). Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology preferred.
CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
An outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
Superior customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

Must be in excellent physical condition and perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, lifting, and grasping for extended periods of time.
