We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team developing industry-leading Wi-Fi, Cable Modem, and Router functionalities. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and testing features that bring high-speed connectivity and a smooth online experience to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software for Wi-Fi, Cable Modem, and Router functionalities
• Implement features related to security, performance, and manageability of home networks
• Conduct thorough regression, sanity, and ad-hoc testing to ensure software quality
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues related to connectivity and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, QA) to deliver a cohesive user experience
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in networking protocols and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in developing embedded systems or network infrastructure software
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, protocols)
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira) and test management platforms (TestRail, Octane)
• Familiarity with database management and API interaction
• Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Wi-Fi standards (802.11ac, 802.11ax) and Cable Modem protocols (DOCSIS)
• Experience with security protocols (WPA, WPA2)
• Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools
