Access Control Systems is Hiring an Operations Administrator Near Orlando, FL

Operations Administrator
The Operations Administrator is responsible for the coordination and administration of operational activities within the company, including developing and maintaining processes and procedures as well as overseeing the execution. The Operations Administrator also acts as a liaison between departments to ensure that operations are running smoothly and efficiently. In addition, they provide support to
the Operations Manager in planning and executing projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Prepares all documents and submits to the local governmental agencies for necessary permits for jobs to include drafting of site plans and other projects
  • Call in to local governmental agencies and set up inspections (building, fire, electrical) for all on-going projects
  • Handle all internal documentation required for all new jobs
  • Submits sales orders and purchase orders
  • Keeping track of inventory and ordering stock parts and equipment for installation crew vehicles
  • Works with inventory staff to that the ensure appropriate equipment is ordered for the job
  • Maintain and update current project software
  • Prepares walk through packets and warranty documents for the closing of all jobs
  • Assist with keeping an open line of communication with customers and subcontractors
  • Managing and updating company databases
  • Coordinate job team members and resources
  • Develop job plans and timelines
  • Coordinate workflows and jobs
  • Tracks project progress and performance and prepare reports for management
  • Regular attendance at work and provides appropriate flexibility
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and policies
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2 years of obtaining permits from governmental agencies experience is preferred
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, exhibit reliability, and display flexibility in responsibilities
  • Possess fundamental computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, while demonstrating a reasonable level of tech-savviness
  • Ability to perform independently as well as collaboratively within a team, and demonstrating a willingness to undergo on-the-job training as necessary
  • As a condition of employment, employer will conduct a background check and drug screen prior to hire
  • Ability to understand, speak and write English
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Position Hours: 7:30AM-4:30P

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a fast-paced office, attached to a warehouse setting with frequent interruptions. Occasional need to travel to other locations as necessary.
