Ensures care team meets internal certification requirements for patient education and the administration of medication.Participates in proficiency testing as required by ACCESS to ensure that proper standards of care are being maintained.May function as a preceptor in teaching programs including medical residents, medical students, advance practice nurse students as well as other allied health professions.Adheres to Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) regulations.Other duties as assigned.Requirements/PreferencesCurrent Professional Licenses to practice as an APRN in the State of Illinois required. Maintain CME requirements.Board Certification is required.Obtain and maintain a collaborative agreement upon beginning of employment at ACCESS.
