Access Care is dedicated to improving our most vulnerable population’s quality of life. We provide the perfect alternative to a nursing home, allowing families to take care of their loved ones with personalized programs and qualified staff. We are currently looking to hire an enthusiastic, dependable medical assistant to begin training immediately.
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
Our Medical Assistant will be working directly with APRN’s to provide the best possible care to our valued patients and clients.
Daily tasks:
- Patient scheduling
- Filing
- Charting
- Answering phones
- Prescription calls to pharmacies and patients
- And more
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Prior medical office clinical experience
- Phlebotomy skills
- Computer skills/EMR experience
- Customer Service
- Experience with insurance verification pharmacy refills
- Experience with PA’s
- Experience with prior authorizations
- Dependability and strong customer service skills
- Multi-tasking capabilities
- Strong work ethic
Desired but not Required:
- Bilingual (preferably Spanish or Arabic)

- MA License
