The E-Commerce & Social Media Sales Professional will play a critical role here at Accent. You will perform essential tasks in support of our customers, operations, and fellow co-workers. Primary Responsibilities
As an E-Commerce & Social Media Sales Professional your primary responsibility is to increase and sustain online sales. In addition to role-specific responsibilities, each employee is required to work collaboratively with other team members, maintain a positive attitude, and act consistent with Accents values and norms.
Adequate ability to perform sales also includes attaining and maintaining knowledge of estate jewelry, luxury time pieces, and other items of value.
Role-specific responsibilities also include:
· Developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
· Creating content/going live on our social media assets to interact and meet agreed upon followership and associated sales goals (i.e., creating hashtags, captions, videos).
· Managing the end-to-end e-commerce channel of our business including photographing and posting items, managing shipping and receipt of items, and responding to all inquiries.
· Monitoring and responding to all inquiries submitted via social media channels, websites, or email.
· Monitoring and responding to all reviews submitted across various channels including Yelp and Google.
· Partnering with specified marketing and advertising partners to ensure brand consistency across all platforms and advertising channels.
· Partnering with specified SEO partners to align content development and posting activities with quantifiable search engine optimization results.
· Utilizing available customer demographic and contact information to generate lead-specific campaigns based on customer behaviors and purchasing trends.
· Guide each customer through the sales process by assessing their individual needs and circumstances.
· Maintain knowledge of store inventory to provide customers with exceptional product knowledge.
· Foster repeat business by building relationships with customers & dealers.
· Efficiently and accurately process sales transactions using standard operating procedures.
· Resolve customer issues by maintaining a professional and service-focused attitude and approach.
· Adhere to all safety, theft awareness, and asset protection processes and policies.
· Efficiently complete other tasks or special projects assigned by store leadership including, as applicable, assisting on the sales floor as needed during peak times.
Required Skills
· Online sales experience (2-4 years, ideally in the jewelry industry) including proficiency with photographing items for online posting.
· Extensive knowledge and experience utilizing social media including posting content and stories, going live, answering DMs, etc.
· Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or similar platforms.
· Ability to follow-up leads in a timely manner including after-hours and on weekends.
· Excellent sales, verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as ability to become proficient with store-specific software.
· Ability to travel as needed to training or sales functions.
Preferred Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field is a plus.
· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design software is a plus.
· Sales experience in an online or brick-and-mortar jewelry store is a plus.
