Acceleration Academies is Hiring a Remote Spanish Asynchronous Curriculum Writer (High School)

These offerings are both rooted in our belief that every student deserves access to the best instruction, tools and resources possible.


Role Expectations

EdIncites is currently seeking four(4) individuals, who are highly proficient in high school asynchronous Spanish course development, to join a team of subject matter experts in the creation of high school level courses in Spanish 1, 2 and 3. These courses will be designed to match our client specifications and will be used in both face-to-face and asynchronous learning environments. This project will begin in April 2024 and run through December 2024.


Project Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in education or directly related field
  • Experience: 3 years of relevant experience with 6-12 asynchronous Spanish curriculum alignment and course development
  • License/Certification: Currently holds an educator’s license in 6-12 Spanish

Role Responsibilities

  • Research and develop thoughtful, engaging and easy-to-use high school level asynchronous Spanish lessons, learning experiences, student and teacher materials that align to content standards and client specifications
  • Create audio files, videos, and GIFs, as needed, aligned to Spanish course standards and client specifications
  • Contribute to the design of student interactives and other multimedia content used in instructional contexts
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members about progress, deadlines, challenges, and solutions
  • Respond constructively to suggestions, client feedback, and editing of your writing and curriculum development
  • Follow plans and specifications for all assigned projects, including meeting deadlines and coordinating with other project workers and adjusting work based on project needs/priorities
  • Design formative and summative assessments and rubrics aligned to lessons and units

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years experience as a 9-12 Spanish asynchronous curriculum developer
  • Experience across digital curriculum systems, including common learning management systems and interactive tools
  • Competent with Google Apps and willing to learn additional technology tools adopted to align to the client specifications
  • Solid understanding of online learning considerations and educational technology
