ABOUT ACCEL ENTERTAINMENT

Accel Entertainment is the largest Gaming Terminal Operator in the country. We provide slot machines, redemption terminals, and amusement devices (pool tables, juke boxes, dart boards, etc.) to bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, and fraternal and veteran establishments across the country. Our focus is providing unmatched customer support, guidance, and compliance expertise so our partner establishments can grow their businesses and generate more revenue.

SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position includes oversight and leadership of a regional processing room. Central tasks include the tracking of all cash items originating in or returning to the specific processing site, review of daily vault balance and inventory, upkeep of schedule including PTO and timecard approval, investigation and reconciliation of variances, and ensuring day to day operations, including proper SOP in all processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day to day oversight of a regional processing department
  • Daily approval of employee timecards
  • Complete daily balances of vault inventory, cash movement, and report all variances found within processes
  • Independently resolve discrepancies and irregularities
  • Observe and reinforce outlined Standard Operating Procedures
  • Implement and maintain control procedures and new and ongoing process improvements
  • Ensure financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
  • Communicate and cooperate with other departments
  • Protect Accel’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Conduct additional reviews and analysis as needed or requested by senior management
  • Provisional projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • At least 21 years of age

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including calculating figures and use of a keyboard
  • Occasionally required to lift/push weights up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
