As the CMA (Certified Medication Aide) at Accel at Longmont , you will work a 12-hour shift, providing our residents with personal care, assisting the charge nurse, and providing exceptional service.

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Key Responsibilities :

  • Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
  • Records the administration of medications and / or treatments appropriately.
  • Observes for and reports any reactions and / or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
  • Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Qualifications :

  • State certification as a nurse aide is required
  • State approved medication administration certification
  • Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide
  • Highly developed observation skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Base Pay : $26.00 - $30.00 per hour (Experience Based)
