The starting rate for this position is $15.58/hr and increases based on experience.

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Dietary Aide is responsible for the clean-up of the meal period for which he/she is responsible. The Dietary Aide is also responsible for providing service in a friendly and congenial manner. The Dietary Aide position is hourly (non-exempt) and reports to the Culinary Services Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Shall demonstrate that their health condition allows them to perform the duties required (with or without reasonable accommodation) and must submit an annual health screening report (LIC503).
• High School graduate or equivalent G.E.D.
• Training and experience preferred,
• Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility, restaurant or food service establishment desired.
• Has the ability to read and to follow written as well as verbal instructions and to sort food tray cards.
• Knowledge of food serving and dish washing sanitary procedures and safety standards in working with cleaning chemicals
• and control.
• Experienced with staff supervision.
