Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-sitewith our client located in Wendell, NC. Interested?
Here's what you'd do :
- As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for building, assembling, and wiring Medium-and Low-Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers, and Solar Inverters.
- Assembly and wire LV MCC breakers, structures, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders.
- Perform Sub-assembly work, including mechanical assembly of steel and components, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires.
- Record appropriate job record transactions.
- Read BOM, follow layouts & assembly drawings.
- Perform some basic wiring per the instructions when requested.
- Set and correct the use of Torque wrenches.
- Adhere to developed processes and methods and seek ways to improve.
- Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others.
- Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
Here's what you'll get :
- Pay : $20.00 / hr.
- Hours : 8 / 40 hours / week (2nd Shift 3 : 00pm - 11 : 30pm M-F).
- Length : Temp (8 Months).

Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing mechanical assembly or in the mechanical field
Preferred Skills / Qualifications :
- Forklift driver experience
- SAP experience
- Able to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components
- Experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery-operated
- Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values
- Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices
- Communicate in English (read, write, and speak fluently)
- Must have a proven record in Quality and Productivity
- Must be a strong team player
