Essential Functions
- Creates material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs; recommends appropriate training materials
- Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees
- Meet with department leaders and other department trainers to proactively identify topics to be addressed or areas in need of additional instruction
- Researches, plans, organizes, and conducts training programs, seminars, and refresher sessions
- Assist in planning, creating, and implementing training courses and materials
- Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training
- Develop in-house training material that can be utilized as needed by staff
- Determine whether or not the employees and/or processes are functioning adequately, efficiently, and effectively
- Document review findings for management review
- Recommend any changes, process refinements, and/or education (training) needs
- Other responsibilities, as assigned
- Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, 2 years training experience required in lieu of degree.
- Relevant healthcare or revenue cycle experience preferred.
- Previous Medicare/Medicaid medical billing experience preferred
- Self-starter who has the ability to take this role and operate independently
- Time management and strong organizational skills are essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient using Microsoft or Google products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to adhere to productivity goals, departmental and company guidelines, and policies and procedures
