Job Description:
Education :
Associates degree or equivalent completed courses required
Bachelors degree in Business, MIS, or other relevant field of study preferred
Work Experiences:
4 years of experience in IT Vendor Management, IT Procurement, or IT Contracts preferred
Experience reviewing Hardware/Software Licensing contracts required
Experience sourcing and negotiating technology purchases required
Experience in oversight of Managed Services vendors preferred
Skills:
Ability to take initiative and successfully manage and execute projects
Ability to plan, coordinate, develop and implement solutions and strategies
Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with individuals at various levels
Self-motivated, with the ability to meet and exceed position requirements under minimal direction and supervision
Analytical with strong problem solving abilities and creative resolution skills Detail oriented with a focus on data accuracy
Solid ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment

Working knowledge of IT terminology, technology concepts, and contract language

Ability to influence and gain acceptance and approval of ideas, proposals, and solutions
Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, with a particular emphasis on Excel
Responsibilities:
Contribute and define the vendor management strategy and process definition
Develop, maintain and distribute standards and minimum requirements for agreements and various contracts
Partner with IT Leadership, IT Procurement, and Enterprise PMO to manage vendors
Negotiate agreements and contracts in partnership with the Legal department, ensuring that the documents meet the expectations of IT Leadership
Review new contracts to ensure all necessary clauses have been added and are in compliance with Academy policies
Manage on-boarding of new vendors, and maintain current vendor relationships by communicating with internal legal and business teams
Manage contract documents through execution, and ensure any contract addendums or amendments follow Academy parameters
Monitor vendors to ensure they meet their agreement and contract obligations
Schedule recurring business review meetings with vendors
Publish monthly contract dashboard
Identify and ensure compliance for vendor SLAs and KPIs
Track IT contractors and ensure that they are associated with active contracts
Partner with IT Operations Team Members to ensure Managed Services vendor compliance with contract on operational activities
Ensure Managed Services vendors adhere to Companys policies and procedures
Create, maintain, and enforce playbooks for Managed Services engagement
Execute vendor surveys and compliance audits
Conduct regular contract reviews of strategic vendors
Develop and maintain a strong relationship with IT Procurement department to ensure sourcing activities are in line with Vendor Management and IT strategies
Source and negotiate purchases and contract renewals that are out of scope for IT Procurement
Create Purchase Orders, combining knowledge of Accounting principles with contents of contracts
Coordinate review and approval of invoices for all IT and EPMO spend, ensuring invoices are accurate and sent to AP for payment in a timely manner
Update and maintain Tech Opex budget and forecast
Act as a mentor and knowledge resource for more junior team members
Assist management with research, analysis and resolution as requested
Support continuous quality and service improvements to drive efficient business operations
Duties may change; Team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned
