DUTIES
- Provide clinical instruction and guidance to nursing students in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Develop and implement lesson plans and learning activities to facilitate student learning
- Supervise and evaluate students' clinical performance, providing feedback and guidance for improvement
- Collaborate with other clinical instructors and faculty members to ensure consistency in teaching methods and evaluation criteria
- Utilize learning technologies and medical terminology to enhance student understanding of patient care practices
- Demonstrate and teach essential skills such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and documentation review
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students
Qualifications
-DSD Certification Required!
- LVN with a current license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Strong knowledge and experience in critical care, primary care, or other relevant specialty areas
- Experience working with students or providing education/training preferred
- Proficient in using learning technologies and familiar with current healthcare practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, faculty, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and support student development
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks
