Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and lives of young children. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Assess and monitor each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning community
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant information
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and progress
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required)
- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience working with diverse populations of students, including those with special needs (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
