The teacher will be responsible for teaching 5th grade students using the ACE curriculum in conjunction with the GADOE State Standards of Excellence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Elem
2. Hold a valid GaPSC in Elementary Education (P-5)
3. Successful classroom teaching experience 3-5 years
4. Good communication skills with students, colleagues and parent.
5. Ability to work and communicate well with students, parents and colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must create and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the Georgia Standards of Excellence as well as the ACE curriculum.
• Must maintain a safe, orderly, organized classroom where teaching and learning is a priority.
• Must implement and support school-wide policies.
• Must communicate routinely with students, parents, colleagues and administrators and establish open lines of communications with all.
• Must willingly take part in duty assignments as assigned by the administration.
• Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the school and/or in self-selected professional growth activities.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Administration.
