A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Plan, design, and execute primary research studies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Analyze primary research data using advanced statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
  • Make methodology recommendations and leverage internal research staff to ensure the selection of appropriate executional resources and processes (e.g., vendor selection, survey design/programming and testing; sample selection, etc.).
  • Develop customer segmentation models and student persona frameworks based on demographic, psychographic, and behavioral data to identify opportunities for targeted marketing and sales efforts and to inform product strategy.
  • Build relationships with a broad set of cross-functional business partners to understand their challenges and priorities, define a research roadmap, and drive actions through insight delivery.
  • Engage in proactive and strategic client engagement to understand their goals/constraints in order to efficiently manage expectations, shape the approach, and deliver positive outcomes that strengthen stakeholder relationships.
  • Package and communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, marketing, sales, and product development teams.
  • Continuously monitor and report on how research efforts are received and leveraged to impact business performance and decision-making.
  • Manage customer research analyst including workflows and prioritizations, providing direction and coaching

What You'll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in management consulting, market research, customer insights, or related fields; experience in higher education market a plus, ideally leading at least one associate / analyst.
  • Track record of successfully delivering projects especially on high velocity initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization and business intelligence tools.
  • Expertise in primary research methodologies, including survey design, sampling, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytical techniques, such as machine learning, predictive modeling, and text analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated voice-of-the-consumer / student-centric mindset and approach.
