Email Marketing Manager
We are looking for a talented email marketing manager to lead our email marketing strategies. Your main duties include running email marketing campaigns end-to-end and managing the email database.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the strategy, execution, and optimization of email campaigns
- Be a power user and serve as the product owner, instance architect and expert user of Marketo
- Manage email calendaring
- Identify target audiences and implement segmentation strategies
- Upgrade our email templates
- Build emails
- Pre-deployment testing and proofreading emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
- Analyze key email metrics to identify and implement opportunities for campaign optimization
- Monitor email deliverability and reputation
- Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices
- Stay current with new developments and emerging technologies in the email environment
Requirement and skills
- Proficiency in marketing automation technology
- Hands on experience with HTML
- Strong project management skills
- An ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with analytical and database tools
- Marketo experience preferred
- Written communication and copywriting skills a plus
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field of study or related experience
- Experience and/or knowledge of higher education and higher ed marketing a plus
