We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy pool attendant to oversee our swimming pool area. In this role, you will be required to welcome and attend to our residents and guests, enforce safety rules, manage pool equipment and facilities, among other duties.

To be a successful pool attendant, you will need to have excellent customer service skills, be personable with the assigned duties and be able to handle multiple tasks at once. You will be required to learn about swimming pool equipment and maintenance. This position will report directly to the Pool Manager.

Pool Attendant Responsibilities:

• Check in residents and guests

• Setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture

• Ensuring that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe

• Enforcing safety protocols as set by the association

• Monitoring the activity of guests and ensuring their safety

• Reporting any damages or incidents to the supervisor

• Managing the swimming pool cleaning schedule and performing daily inspections

• Clean pool tiles

• Empty filters and trash

• Clear pool deck with leaf blower and broom

• After a storm pool attendants need to start 30 minutes early on the first shift

• Collect waivers – if needed

• Pool Attendant can call a 15-minute safety break as needed

Pool Attendant Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age minimum

• Ability to move and lift furniture and equipment

• Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and after hours

• Willingness to enforce pool rules and confront offenders of pool rules

• Expectations to work several 4-hour shifts per week. There are 2 shifts a day

• Lifeguard experience a plus

• Pool Opens Memorial Day Weekend and Closes Labor Day, September 2, 2024

• Hours: Monday - Thursday – 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM,

Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 11:00 AM – 7:00PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
