Job Overview: Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) nurse, you will visit with first-time moms in their home through their pregnancies until their children are 2 years old, developing enduring relationships. Your support will help your clients take control of their lives, nurture healthy children and build strong families. As a Nurse Family Partnership nurse, you will form long-term trusting relationships with new moms to help ease them through the emotional, social and physical, challenges of becoming a parent. Being a Nurse-Family Partnership nurse allows you to be part of a supportive team helping to meet the needs of your clients while being part of a movement of caring professionals. Key Responsibilities: Functions within the agency's policies and procedures. Communicates programmatic or job-related concerns to supervisor and makes suggestions for improvement in an appropriate and timely manner. Communicates any performance concerns or training needs to the supervisor in an appropriate and timely manner. Is attentive and responsive to customer needs in a helpful, supportive and timely manner. Works collaboratively with coworkers and agency staff to effectively communicate and problem solve Requirements: Minimum requirement is BSN. Possession of current N.J. RN license required. 1 year of relevant experience. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
