What's your day like?

As a Senior Fleet Service Technician at AC Sweepers & Maintenance in Morrow, Georgia, you will tackle high-level diagnostics and repairs on fleet vehicles, demonstrating your expertise in engine and transmission overhauls.

In this role, you will lead major projects, maintain quality control, and serve as the go-to technical expert in automotive systems.

Your guidance will be essential as you provide training to Fleet Sweeper Technicians and troubleshoot difficult mechanical issues.

Compliance with national and local regulations and safety standards will be critical, as you conduct safety audits and training for the team.

Additionally, you will oversee record-keeping of vehicle service history, manage parts inventory, and negotiate purchasing agreements with suppliers for cost-effective solutions.

Your role will be instrumental in planning future vehicle purchases and retirements, ensuring operational efficiencies and 24 / 7 coverage for fleet emergencies.

Successful candidates for the Senior Fleet Service Technician position at AC Sweepers & Maintenance must possess an advanced diploma or degree in automotive mechanics, technical training in diesel mechanics, or a related field.

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in fleet maintenance, including supervisory or leadership roles, is required. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software specific to fleet management is essential, along with strong leadership and team management skills.

Candidates should exhibit exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to technical details, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred, and certification from recognized automotive organizations such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) is a plus.
