Reports to : Regional Manager

About the Position

We are opening a new branch and are looking for a leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and welcomes the opportunities and challenges that come with opening a new store.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who sets high expectations for themselves and who is not satisfied until their store is a showpiece that reflects their hard work and dedication.

The ideal candidate is someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves, immerse in our culture to develop an effective team, and persist until company objectives and goals are achieved.

Although this is a tall order, you will not be alone in this endeavor. You will have the guidance of an experienced management team and the support of a back-office that is readily available to help.

The pace is fast, extremely fast in the summer season, and change is inevitable in this ever-changing industry; therefore, the right person for this position is someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment that moves fast and shifts priorities frequently.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the overall functions and day-to-day operations of the location, which includes, but is not limited to the following :

Financial / Operations :

  • Meet or exceed your stores sales goals and budgeted profit results.
  • Manage and control expenses related to payroll and overhead costs.
  • Follow established procedures for running the store and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure products are in stock and readily available on the shelves.

Customer Service :

  • Set the example for exceptional customer service by providing customers with what they need, when they need it.
  • Establish relationships with your customers, anticipate their needs, and help make their jobs easier.
  • Create an inviting store presence by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized store.
  • Become familiar with our online store and effectively communicate the benefits of our products and services.

Team Building & Development :

  • Equip your team to provide exceptional customer service and motivate them to go the extra mile.
  • Engage your team to become experts about the products and services we offer.
  • Instill responsibility and hold associates accountable for their actions and decisions.
  • Develop your teams skills and prepare them for new opportunities that may become available.

Preferred qualifications :

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Retail management experience to lead your team to achieve results.
  • Ability to set goals, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Can work independently with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry is a plus.
  • Able to work long days and some Saturday mornings.
  • Computer literate with the ability to pick up new computer software programs easily.
