AC Electrical Systems is Hiring an Electrical Service Technician Near Springfield, MO
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has 4 plus years experience of electrical and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to install complex electrical equipment, maintain and repair existing electrical systems and carry out preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Valid driver's license
* Electrical experience 4 or more years - Preferred
* Journeyman's License/Master's License - Preferred, not required
* Troubleshoot lighting components, including ballast and drivers
* Troubleshooting complex electrical systems
* Industrial electrical installation of conduit and wiring up to 480V 3-phase
* PLC control system wiring - Preferred
* VFD's and 480V 3-phase motors
* Installation of conduit and wiring in hazardous classified locations.
* Installation, Maintenance and Inspection of medium voltage systems and components
up to 15KV - Preferred, not required
* Electrical testing utilizing insulation tester, Hi Pot, electrical meter
* General knowledge of 3-phase motors and testing
* General knowledge of motor controls
* Electrical inspection on commercial and industrial electrical systems.
* Troubleshooting and installation of related equipment in mines and rock quarries
- Preferred, not required
* MSHA miner training a plus - Preferred, not required
* Thermography Certificate Level I, II - Preferred, not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
