Overview

ABX Innovative Packaging Solutions is currently seeking an IT Operations Analyst to join our IT Department. This position provides technical support of end user computers, servers, infrastructure, phones, applications, and related technology. This position is primarily responsible for providing this support for our manufacturing facility in Macedon, NY. The position involves being on call approximately one out of every four weeks. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The position utilizes one-on-one consultancy with end users. The position’s responsibilities require independent analysis, professional communication, good time management, a self-starter mindset and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot/repair hardware and software within a network environment
• Setup and Configure Windows computers and peripherals
• Respond to and resolve tickets/work orders supporting end-users and all site infrastructure
• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading IT infrastructure including PC products, servers, network, WiFi, and other hardware/software
• Resolve issues in person, by phone, or using remote assistance applications
• Periodic travel to nearby ABX facilities to provide IT expertise and support
• Coordinate with vendors to deliver support provided by managed services
• Ensures utilization of the service management tools for logging, managing, and resolving incidents and requests
• Assist with technical documentation and contribute to the creation / publishing of Knowledge Base articles used by all levels of support.
• Complete new PC implementations and relocations

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of IT Operations experience
• Excellent Customer Service skills, including a positive attitude
• Ability to work with clients over the phone & chat to resolve client issues quickly
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System (Win10 )
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Azure
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; ability to work effectively with all organizational levels within a culturally diverse environment
• Able to work after-hours as needed to meet project deadlines, system maintenance, work assignments, repairs or to address emergencies
• Must be physically able to safely lift and move PCs, desktop printers, and LCD monitors

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science or IT related field
• System Administration experience
• Experience and ability to support MacOS devices
• Experience supporting IT in a manufacturing environment
• Certifications, including, A , Net , MCSA/MCSE, MCTS, Security , CCENT/CCNA/CCNP, AZ-900, SC-300, MS-500
