Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected and upheld
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Lift and transfer residents as needed, following proper techniques and protocols
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or medical professional
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors
- Drive residents to appointments, activities, and community outings
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in direct support or a related field preferred
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
