Location : Minneapolis, MN (100% Remote)
Candidate must work on Client's W2
Contract Length : 6 month contract for hire (candidates must be willing to convert, they are not open to straight contract candidates)
Local/Non-Local : Candidates do not need to be local to area but must be in US

Senior SAP Solutions Specialist III

Summary:

• Analyze business strategy and user needs, document specifications, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specifications.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives through search and fact-finding.
• Support, test, and enhance complex information systems and develop adequate error management functionality within assigned applications.
• Build test plans, test cases, perform functional testing and assure proper user acceptance testing of completed projects.
• Develop appropriate documentation as needed.
• Support activities for assigned applications and assure secondary resources are defined and are well trained to support the application.
• Track problems, enhancement requests and suggestions for assigned applications.
• Recommend changes and modify procedures to solve complex problems.
• Work with vendors to coordinate project and development tasks and resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain an understanding of the client's business practices, industry issues, trends and present technical solutions that enhance the value of our customers' products and services.
• Provide new user training on supported applications as requested.

Required Skills:

• SAP Group Reporting experience a must
• Must have excellent communication
• 7-10 years of Group Reporting and Business Planning & Consolidation experience to include:
  • Business process definition, requirements definition, and development and support of integrated business applications
  • Analyzing SAP Group Reporting and BPC solutions utilizing Group Reporting and BPC applications Implementation
  • support of SAP Group Reporting and BPC application
  • System development methodologies and process mapping

Preferred skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems, or related field
• Business Analyst Certification (CBAP)
• Experience with case tools, MS SQL server, Visual Basic, Project, SharePoint, and Visio
• Ability to be on-call to provide support after business hours if needed
